Description
As more companies adopt advanced network
applications such as voice over IP and videoconferencing, service
providers will be faced with the pressure to support the
high-bandwidth, multipoint Ethernet and IP characteristics that these
emerging applications require. Cisco's Multilayer (ML) Series Ethernet
technology provides intelligent multipoint Ethernet provisioning that
supports these advanced data applications.
In this course, you will learn to operate and use
the multi-service data transport functions of the Cisco ONS 15454.
Through classroom instruction and hands-on training in small groups,
you'll complete a wide range of tasks covering Layer 1, Layer 2, and
Layer 3 functions as well as the features and functions of the ONS
15454 system.
The lab designs are based on the use of six ONS
15454 nodes. Each student has the opportunity to participate in every
lab. Open lab periods provide opportunities to work with the ONS 15454
system in an unstructured environment. While activities in the open lab
are self-directed, the instructor is available to answer questions and
offer guidance. Prerequisites
- CCNA Certification
- OCTPO v7.0
