Description

This course is designed specifically to prepare students to pass their CCIE® Service Provider lab exam. The course will cover ALL aspects of the Cisco CCIE® Service provider lab exam including: Bridging and Switching, IGP Routing, EGP Routing, SP Multicast, MPLS, L3/L2 VPN, SP QoS and Security, High Availability, and Management.

• The instructor is a CCIE® Service Provider..
• Class length is five (5) days, Monday - Friday, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Yes, these are 11 hour days, so come rested and prepared to work.
• Racks contain all brand new Cisco 2811 routers and Catalyst 3560 switches.
• Class size will be 6-11 students with 11 being the maximum.
• This course is designed specifically to prepare students to pass their CCIE® SP Lab Exam.
• Each student receives dedicated instructor mentoring to ensure all concepts are completely understood.
• Each student has their own rack. The CCIE® Lab Exam is not a team effort, so your preparation shouldn't be either!
• Access is provided to the classroom racks 24 hours a day and the instructor is usually available via cell phone until 12:00 midnight each day.
• The courseware and rack hardware have been updated to reflect the current content of the CCIE® Lab Exam. The courseware and labs are updated after every class based on the feedback from the previous class.
• This class is intense and very fast paced and is only for Service Provider CCIE® candidates that plan to take their Lab Exam within four (4) weeks or less after finishing our class.
• This course can also be provided on-site for organizations that have multiple students.
• We do not just "throw" labs at the students and tell them to "have at it." The instructor presents his lecture in the morning for 3 or so hours, and then the rest of the day students work on labs pertaining to the material from the lecture. The instructor works very closely with the students to make sure the students understand the material as well as the best ways to approach the solutions to the lab questions presented.

Prerequisites

• Students should have a basic understanding of all of the technologies listed on the Cisco CCIE® SP lab blueprint
• Students should be able to do the labs in our lab workbook without looking at the answers or explanations.

Who Should Attend

The student who is scheduled to take the CCIE® Service Provider Lab Exam should take this class. Ideally, the student should take this course two to four weeks before their scheduled lab exam date. The class is designed to assist the CCIE® candidate in strengthening weak areas and to accurately assess exam readiness.
