Description
The Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design
(DCUCD) v3.0 is a five-day instructor-led course with lab exercises
that help prepare the student for the certification exam 642-982 DCUCD.
The course content is primarily focused on the Cisco Unified Computing
System (Cisco UCS) and to a lesser degree also on Cisco Nexus 1000v
Virtual Switch, Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches, Cisco Catalyst 6500
Series Switches, Cisco MDS Series Switches, and VMware vSphere 4. The
course starts with an overview of Data Center Computing solutions and
then explains the design aspects of the Cisco Data Center Unified
Computing solution. The Delivery Lab for this course is accessed using
a remote access procedure coupled with a GUI application that provides
connectivity to all lab devices.
Objectives
The goal of the DCUCD curriculum is to enable
customers to build scalable, reliable, and intelligent Cisco Data
Center Unified Computing solutions using Cisco UCS, Cisco Nexus 7000
Series Switches, Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switches, Cisco MDS Series
Switches, Cisco Nexus 1000v Virtual Switch, Cisco Data Center Network
Manager (Cisco DCNM), Cisco Fabric Manager, VMware vSphere 4, Linux,
and Microsoft Windows operating system.
